Respite Care
Rockhill Respite Care is solely dedicated to assisting clients who are currently receiving services from Truman Medical Center Behavior Health Network. It was established to provide short-term emergency interventions, time-limited respite, supportive services, and structured oversight in a 24/7 protected environment.
Respite Care offers an alternative to in-patient hospitalization that will provide clients a supportive environment in which to stabilize, resume normal activities, and return to the community within a measured period of time. The 10-bed unit is located in Rockhill Manor.
The Director of the Respite Care program is Rockhill Manor’s Director of Nursing, Wanda Gunn.
